FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The way our challenges work is simple! First, select the challenge you’d like to take part in. We have running, walking, cycling, swimming and stepping challenges available every month. Next, choose distance you would like to aim for and then, go for it! You have the whole month to complete your challenge anywhere in the world, entirely at your pace!

There are no set times, no minimum distance for each run, walk, swim or cycle and no problem if you aren’t able to squeeze in the miles on a busy day. You complete your month’s challenge as and when you want!

You have the entire calendar month to complete your challenge, right up until the very last day!

You can now have your medal personalised with your exact distance for the month!

For example, if you entered a standard 50 mile challenge and completed this by covering 56 miles we would send your medal with 50 miles on it. However, if you had opted for distance personalisation we would engrave the medal with your exact mileage, 56 miles, for you!

Yes, you absolutely can. We suggest that you enter the challenge that you will cover the most miles doing as your medal will reflect this :)

At the end of the month, we will send you an email asking you to complete a quick form. On this form we ask you to tick whether or not you were able to complete all the miles you’d pledged to cover, and if so to upload evidence of this.

Yes, it’s absolutely fine to submit your evidence in KM if that works best for you! Just make sure your total in KM is more than or equal to your challenge in miles.

Absolutely you can, you can enter any of our challenges!

You have the entire month to complete all of our challenges.

For the standard challenges we send the evidence form on 26th of the month, but this is just so you have it ready for when you complete your miles, or if you finish early.

They absolutely can! Under 16s can take part in run, walk, cycle and swimming challenges, with distances selected especially for them! Click here to find out more!

We know that many children aren’t able to record the miles they cover, but if they want to keep track of their progress they can print and colour in their very own tracker, with a different design each month! Click here to get yours!

Please note that if you opt for a personalised distance medal for your child you will need to complete an evidence form – the medal won’t be sent automatically. We won’t require evidence files, but we will need to know your child’s total miles to be engraved on their medal. We will send the form on the last day of the month.

The compression tops are sent out at the end of the challenge. All you need to do is complete the evidence form and let us know if you were able to complete your challenge. If you were, we will send your medal and top, if not just your top.

Of course you can! Please enter regardless of where you live, the event is open to everyone, everywhere. Unfortunately as it is more expensive to post your medal and/or compression top overseas we have to charge an additional £5 which will be applied at the end of your registration.

Race At Your Pace is pleased to support a range of charities. Whilst we’re not able to support every worthwhile cause, we like to donate where we can. Click to see who we have donated to here

Even if you sign up after 1st of the month, any miles you have covered from the start of the month will count towards your challenge. We always advise you to sign up as early as you can though – we can’t guarantee late entries or challenge availability.

If it’s looking like you’re not going to be able to complete your challenge, please don’t worry! You can log in before 25th of the month to lower your target distance so you can still get your medal! Alternatively, you can email us to add a personalised distance medal to your challenge and your medal will be engraved with your total distance, even if it’s not your original target. This will also need to be done before 25th though.

If you get to the end of the month and haven’t been able to complete your challenge, don’t forget you can still receive your compression top, if this was added to your entry. Just make sure you submit your evidence form, clicking ‘no’ to say you weren’t able to complete your miles, and submit the form.

Congratulations! If you’re on a standard distance challenge then we will send your evidence form on 26th. You don’t need to complete the form then, you still have until the end of the month, but we send these out early so everyone has the form ready for when they finish their challenge.

All you need to do is fill in a few details, including your Registration ID. This ID can be found on all the emails we send you throughout the month, including your confirmation email. The ID starts with ‘R-‘.

After you’ve filled your form in, tick to say if you’ve been successful, and if so attach any evidence files you have. Then, hit ‘submit’!

If you’re on a personalised distance challenge or a step challenge your form will be sent on the last day of the month.
