Move through menopause
21/09/2026
Find your strength, your pace, your Community
Perimenopause and menopause can bring a lot of changes – from sleep disruption and hot flushes to changes in mood, energy and confidence.
It can sometimes feel like your body is changing faster than you can keep up with. But movement can be a powerful way to support both your physical and mental health during this stage of life.
That’s why the Race At Your Pace Menopause Community is about more than exercise. It’s about finding motivation, connection and support from women who understand what you’re going through.
Move at your own pace
Exercise doesn’t have to mean intense workouts or hours in the gym.
It could be a walk, a swim, cycling, dancing, a home workout or some strength training.
Some days you might feel full of energy. Other days, a gentle ten-minute walk might be enough.
It all counts.
Regular physical activity can support your overall health, improve fitness and help with mental wellbeing and sleep. Strength and weight-bearing activities are particularly valuable around menopause, helping to maintain muscle strength and support bone health.
Move for your mind
Menopause can affect more than your physical health. Changes in hormones, disrupted sleep and other symptoms can leave you feeling anxious, low or unlike yourself.
Getting outside, moving your body and having time away from everyday responsibilities can give you a valuable mental reset.
And when you’re part of a community, you don’t have to do it alone.
Celebrate your wins. Share your challenges. Encourage each other.
Sometimes, you don’t need advice – you just need someone who gets it.
Stronger for the future
Menopause is a great time to focus on building strength and looking after your long-term health.
Walking and other weight-bearing activities can support bone health, while strength exercises can help maintain muscle and make everyday activities feel easier.
You don’t have to completely transform your routine.
Start small. Keep moving. Build from there.
Find your people. Move together.
Race At Your Pace gives you the motivation to keep going, with coins, rewards and movement streaks helping you stay accountable and celebrate your progress.
But perhaps the biggest motivation is knowing you’re part of a community.
Whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause or simply looking for a reason to move more, you don’t have to do it alone.
You don’t need to be super fit.
You don’t need hours of free time.
And you don’t need to do it perfectly.
Move for your health. Move for your wellbeing. Move for yourself.
